Wacky Pest Wednesday: Raccoons

 In News

Happy Wednesday, Tri-County Pest Control fans, and welcome to our latest edition of Wacky Pest Wednesday.  For this edition, we’re taking a look at the raccoon.

Raccoons are known to be mischievous little rascals, often finding themselves face-first in your trash cans looking for an easy meal.  They make their homes in hollow logs and trees, and tend to venture off into civilization, sometimes in groups, to look for the tastiest trash in town.

Since raccoons are nocturnal animals, signs of a raccoon infestation are either the raccoons themselves, or turned-over and disheveled trash in the morning.  If you find either, you very well may have a raccoon problem.  To counter this, you can start to use preventative tactics, such as anti-raccoon spray or an investment in stronger, more durable trash cans (with lids).

Should the raccoons keep coming back despite your best efforts, know that we are always here for containment, trapping, and assured removal.  One call to us will make all of your raccoon problems go away!

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!
