Wacky Pest Wednesday: Reindeer
Happy Wednesday, Tri-County Pest Control fans, and welcome back to another edition of Wacky Pest Wednesday! Since Christmas is right around the corner, we figured that we would focus in on a critter that you might see next Monday night: reindeer.
Reindeer are pretty interesting animals, as they generally come out in droves during the holiday season. They are known as hard-working animals, and there are even a select few who have the ability to fly (in addition to one who has a glowing red nose)! Typically, reindeer are regulated to the Arctic parts of the world, but there are several sightings of them in the American Mid-Atlantic region during this time of year. Most curious, don’t you think?
While reindeer pose absolutely no threat to you or your home, you may like to leave something out for them to snack on, as they are wonderful animals who always seem to accompany presents being delivered. Reindeer staples include carrots and oats, and you can even leave some reindeer chow on the roof using oats and raisins if you like! Regardless of what you chose to leave out for them, we can promise you that they’ll enjoy it nonetheless.
Reindeer are no pest, but still, we feel as though you should know about them heading into Christmas. Should you need any more advice about these furry guys, please don’t hesitate to call!
From all of us at Tri-County Pest Control, we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas!
