Ladybugs are very neat and kid-friendly bugs. How many of you remember allowing one to crawl over your finger when you were little? Believe it or not, these critters are beetles, and like most beetles, can keep out some pests, but may turn into a pest themselves.

These critters are akin to eating a whole lot of greens, and could turn your garden into a feast right under your eyes. Not only that, but they are smart enough to seek out shelter when the weather gets too cold or too warm, and your home may seem like the perfect spot for them. Although rare, ladybug infestations can occur, especially if you have a large number of plants inside. To keep them at bay, be sure that there are no cracks in your exterior, and that your screens are intact.
