Common Pest Control Q and A
Pests can be a burden, but sometimes, dealing with the pest-control company can be even worse. At Tri-County Pest Control, we make the process of setting up a treatment plan as easy as it can possibly be, so that you’ll have those critters out of your home in no time. However, you may have some lingering questions before you give us a call, so let us put all of those to rest in our latest blog!
How soon can you have someone out to my house to treat these annoying bugs?
Typically, we will have a technician out to your home or business within a day. Service will usually take between 45 minutes to an hour, and may require multiple visits depending on the type of critter we’re dealing with.
Will my family have to leave the house while you’re treating it?
Most of the time, your family is perfectly fine where they are. However, if it is a serious infestation or a rather stubborn pest, we may ask that you relocate for a few hours.
Are your treatments harmful to my kids or pets? I’ve read online that they can come with some serious side effects…
All of the products that we use are certified and registered by the EPA, so they are not a health risk to you or your family. In addition, all of the products that we use indoor fall into the EPA’s lowest category of risk, so you can be assured that the treatments will not harm you in any way.
What about non-chemical treatments, do you offer those?
Believe it or not, chemicals are rarely the only answer to a pest control problem. However, when used effectively by a licensed and experienced company, they pose virtually no risk to the inhabitants of the home. If you would like to avoid pesticides altogether, we can work with you to develop a comprehensive pest-defense strategy to prevent pests from getting in your home in the first place, preventing the need for such measures. Regardless, all of our treatments are eco-effective, and we have even won the GreenPro award from the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) multiple times for our removal strategies and excellent service!
What should I look for when choosing a pest control company?
A solid reputation, extensive experience, and a company that puts the focus on you instead of the job at hand all make up a great pest control company. Companies like this will be much more flexible in their work while using time-tested methods, making for a happy client and a pest-free home.
If you’re ready to see the difference between Tri-County Pest Control and the other companies out there, give us a call today. You can be assured that we will work with you every step of the way—and long after your home is pest-free—because it’s the service after the sale that counts!
