Wacky Pest Wednesday: Bees

 In News

Happy Wednesday to all you Tri-County Pest Control fans out there, and welcome to our latest edition of Wacky Pest Wednesday.  Join us today, as we cover a very “bumbling” pest, the bee!

In just a short while, you’ll see bees scurrying about, pollinating everything they see.  For spring, this is a very common occurrence, and by no means should you be worried about it.  In fact, you should be glad, as this allows for many flowers to bloom, and an overall sense of vibrancy in the spring—one that we are sure is very anticipated given this odd winter.

Now, if you are allergic to bees, than your view towards them may be a little bit different.  However, the golden rule with bees is this: if you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you.  Bees don’t like to sting, as it means instant death for them, so as long as you keep your distance, you’ll be good!

Should there be a hive in your yard or on your house, we highly advise against taking a baseball bat to it.  Instead, let the professionals hand it safely and humanely.  One call to us is all you need to take the hive out of your hair, all the while keeping the bees safe.

While we all cannot wait for the influx of bees—and with it the start of spring—know that we are here for any management problems you may have.

Have a great Wednesday!
